Awfis Achieves Triple WELL Ratings Across 35 Locations

Awfis, India’s largest flexible workspace provider, has achieved a significant milestone in workplace well-being by securing three prestigious WELL certifications across its portfolio, reinforcing its people-first approach to coworking in India.
Through the WELL at scale pathway, Awfis has earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating and the WELL Equity Rating across 35 locations nationwide, while 15 centres have achieved the WELL Coworking Rating in partnership with The Instant Group. With this, Awfis becomes the first coworking brand in India to hold all three WELL accolades simultaneously.
The WELL Health-Safety Rating recognises Awfis’ robust operational measures focused on health, safety and business continuity, including enhanced cleaning protocols, indoor air quality management, emergency preparedness and stakeholder engagement. These measures aim to reduce health risks while supporting occupant confidence, engagement and productivity.
In parallel, the WELL Equity Rating highlights Awfis’ commitment to inclusion, accessibility and fairness through progressive people policies, universal design principles and barrier-free movement across facilities. The rating underscores the company’s focus on fostering belonging and equitable access to healthier workspaces for diverse teams.
Further strengthening its people-centric strategy, Awfis has also achieved the WELL Coworking Rating, which encompasses more than 50 features across all 10 WELL concepts. These include continuous indoor air quality monitoring, regular water potability testing and nourishment guidelines that promote healthier food choices, enhancing comfort, performance and overall work experience for coworking occupants.
Industry leaders noted that Awfis’ achievement sets a new benchmark for healthier, safer and more inclusive flexible work environments in India, as the country’s coworking workforce continues to expand.
