Baghel inaugurates projects in 26 Chhattisgarh districts

In preparation for the impending assembly elections in Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel took a significant step by virtually inaugurating and laying foundation stones for an impressive tally of 7,300 projects, collectively valued at Rs 6,080 crore, across 26 districts of the state.

The momentous occasion unfolded during a state-level ceremony hosted at the Chief Minister's official residence in Raipur. Baghel ceremoniously inaugurated 3,978 development initiatives, amounting to a total investment of Rs 2,668 crore. Additionally, he laid the foundation stones for 3,322 projects, collectively worth Rs 3,411 crore, as reported by a spokesperson from the public relations department.

One noteworthy highlight among these initiatives was the inauguration of Chhattisgarh's maiden sugarcane-based ethanol plant. This pioneering venture, established through a Public Private Partnership (PPP) involving Bhoramdeo Shahkari Shakkar Karkhana Maryadit (BSSKM) and NKJ Biofuel Ltd, represents an investment of Rs 141 crore. Nestled across a sprawling 35-acre expanse within the premises of BSSKM sugar mill in Ramhepur village, Kabirdham district, this cutting-edge facility boasts a daily production capacity of 80 kilo litres.

These groundbreaking endeavors underscore the government's commitment to fostering progress, advancing economic development, and championing sustainable initiatives as Chhattisgarh approaches the imminent assembly elections.
