Bellona Hospitality Eyes 100 Restaurants, Rs. 6.5 bn Revenue by FY30

Bellona Hospitality, the food and beverage arm of Phoenix Mills, is targeting revenue of Rs. 6-6.5 bn by FY30 as it expands its restaurant portfolio to 100 outlets. The company currently operates 32 restaurants across five cities and reported revenue of about Rs. 1.5 bn in FY26.

The business runs six brands: Ishaara, Dobaara, Cha Hongkong Eating House, Eight, Allora Milano and Legume. These are present in Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Lucknow, giving the company an operating base for expansion in markets where it already has infrastructure.

Bellona has allocated Rs. 1 bn in capital expenditure for the expansion, which will be funded through internal accruals. Managing Director Prashant Issar said the company plans to add 20 to 30 outlets in its existing cities before pursuing other major markets, including Hyderabad and the Delhi-National Capital Region.

The company also intends to use locations in upcoming Phoenix malls in cities such as Kolkata and Indore. Its expansion approach will focus on high-footfall destinations, including tourist and commercial hubs, while site selection will depend on the availability of suitable opportunities.

The main focus of the next phase will be on Cha, Ishaara and Eight, according to Issar. Bellona is concentrating on India rather than overseas markets, with management assessing domestic opportunities as sufficient for its current growth plans. The company’s stated target would more than triple its restaurant network from the present base and substantially increase revenue by FY30.

Cement Prices Likely to Rise Rs. 10-15 per Bag from Mid-October

Cement manufacturers in India are likely to raise prices by Rs. 10-15 per bag from mid-October, as they seek to offset persistent increases in power and fuel costs. Emkay Research said its channel checks indicated a high probability of an increase from October 12, supported by the start of the busy construction season and favourable demand-supply conditions. The sector had implemented similar rate adjustments of Rs. 10-15 per bag during the first quarter, but the increases were insufficient to cover higher operating costs. Prices also softened during July and August because of the monsoon, wid..
