Blue Cloud empanelled as 5G System Integrator by BSNL

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd, a fast-growing Indian company in AI and cybersecurity, has been empanelled as a 5G Fixed Wireless Access (5GFWA) System Integrator for Andhra Pradesh and at the national level by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL). The empanelment will enable Blue Cloud to provide cutting-edge 5G Internet Leased Line (ILL) services across India.

According to a communication from the Office of the Chief General Manager, BSNL AP Circle, Blue Cloud’s empanelment as a National Level System Integrator for establishing and maintaining private customer networks is valid for five years, from 8 August 2025 to 7 August 2030, under the terms of the official Expression of Interest.

Additionally, under an Empanelment Agreement signed on 31 July 2025, BSNL has appointed Blue Cloud as a 5GFWA partner to provide Internet Leased Line services on a revenue-sharing basis to enterprises and institutions. The agreement, valid for five years, may be extended further.

Under the partnership:

Blue Cloud will design, supply, deploy, operate, and maintain 5G RAN, Edge CORE, radio access, and Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). It will also promote 5G FWA services to enterprise customers.

BSNL will provide infrastructure support such as space, power, connectivity, spectrum, and bandwidth, while handling billing and collections under the BSNL brand.

Revenue will be shared between Blue Cloud and BSNL in a 70:30 ratio (BCSSL: BSNL) on monthly revenue, depending on business volume.

Strategic Significance

This empanelment strengthens Blue Cloud’s role in India’s digital transformation, allowing it to integrate advanced 5G technologies and deliver high-speed ILL and smart connectivity solutions for enterprises, government projects, and smart cities.

The initiative also opens opportunities to expand into Edge Micro Data Centres, Air Fibre, AIoT (Industry 4.0), AI healthcare, and AI-driven analytics, creating scalable, energy-efficient, and secure connectivity platforms.

BSNL-AP has directed Blue Cloud to conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) trials at Mindi, Visakhapatnam, and Anakapalli to demonstrate its 5GFWA integration capabilities. These trials will begin in the first week of November 2025.

Market Outlook

According to reports by TRAI and Statista, India’s 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) exceeding 35 per cent, with revenues expected to surpass USD 1.5 billion (Rs 12.5 billion) by 2027. The rapid adoption of 5G is being driven by industrial expansion, rural broadband, and smart city initiatives.

TRAI notes that 5GFWA can help bridge the connectivity gap in underserved regions, while Statista forecasts that over 30 million households in India will adopt 5G FWA by 2026.

Focus on Andhra Pradesh

The empanelment presents major opportunities for Blue Cloud in Anakapalli’s industrial zones, where demand for high-speed 5G connectivity and data management infrastructure is rising. These sectors include agro-processing, logistics, and manufacturing, which are key to Andhra Pradesh’s economic growth.

Leadership Statement

Tejesh Kodali, Group Chairman of Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Ltd, stated:

“Our mission is to bridge the digital divide by delivering innovative, affordable, and world-class communication solutions that empower every corner of society. With BSNL’s support, we aim to drive India’s 5G revolution and create meaningful, inclusive digital growth across industries and communities.”
