CM Bhupendra Patel unveils Rs 3.14 bn development projects in Dahod

Prime Minister Narendra Modi would dedicate four new stations of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC). It was mentioned that the PM would flag off several trains and inaugurate 6,000 railway projects dedicated to the nation from Ahmedabad. It was further stated that he would virtually inaugurate the four new WDFC stations falling under the Vadodara railway division. Jeetendra Singh, divisional railway manager of Vadodara, informed that the PM would dedicate four WDFC stations?New Makarpura, New Sanjali, New Varediya, and New Gothangam. He also mentioned that through video conferencing, the PM would dedicate new lines, doubling works, gauge conversion projects, goods sheds, one station-one product stalls, and Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras. Additionally, he noted that apart from the WDFC stations, the Anand-Ode doubling project and Chhota Udepur-Alirajpur section would be inaugurated in the Vadodara division. Furthermore, he added that the PM would dedicate a three-phase ultra-modern periodic overhaul workshop set up at Dabhoi. The 244km WDFC stretch between New Makarpura and New Gholvad was described as a double-line electrified track with automatic signaling.
