ECINET Platform Launched At IICDEM 2026

The Election Commission of India has recently launched ECINET, a unified digital platform offering end-to-end access to election-related information and services, at the India International Conference on Democracy and Election Management (IICDEM) 2026 in New Delhi.

Developed in compliance with constitutional and statutory provisions, ECINET integrates over 40 existing applications and portals into a single, secure interface available in 22 scheduled languages and English. 

The platform connects citizens, candidates, political parties and election officials, enabling services such as voter registration, electoral roll search, application tracking, e-EPIC download, polling trends and grievance redressal. Piloted during the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections, ECINET has already processed more than 100 million registration forms and digitised over 1.50 billion documents, strengthening transparency, efficiency and public trust in the electoral process.
