Knauf India appoints Gaunik Jeet Singh as head of marketing

Knauf India, the world’s No. 1 company in drywall and ceiling solutions, has announced the appointment of Mr Gaunik Jeet Singh as its new Head of Marketing. With over 19 years of experience across reputed organisations and an alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB), Mr Singh is set to lead Knauf India’s multi-channel marketing strategy and build a differentiated brand presence in the country’s construction and building materials sector. 

Prior to this role, Singh served as Category Head at Hero MotoCorp, where he steered marketing for key product portfolios. His earlier stints include leadership positions at AkzoNobel (Dulux Paints), Airtel, and Spice Mobility. His work across these firms focused on scaling premium product categories, enhancing consumer touchpoints, and delivering growth through brand storytelling. 

At Knauf India, Singh will be responsible for building brand equity, leading integrated marketing campaigns, and aligning communication strategies with the brand’s global identity while staying relevant to Indian market dynamics. 

Expressing his enthusiasm, Mr Gaunik Jeet Singh said, “I am excited to be part of Knauf India’s journey. The brand has a strong foundation and there’s a real opportunity to build a deeper awareness and connect meaningfully with our stakeholders.
