India’s Largest Clean Energy Convergence Returns in 2025

Igniting the next wave of renewable innovation, Informa Markets in India, the country’s leading curator of B2B growth platforms, proudly announces the 18th edition of Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, Asia’s largest and most influential clean energy congregation. Scheduled from October 30 to November 1, 2025, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, REI 2025 will once again be co-located with the 3rd edition of The Battery Show India (TBSI), together advancing India’s vision of a cleaner, greener tomorrow. Building on the record-breaking success of its 2024 edition, REI 2025 will set new benchmarks for innovation, partnerships, and sustainability, under the unified theme “Decoding Pathways to Achieve Net Zero.” The co-located events will create an unparalleled ecosystem spanning the entire clean energy value chain—from generation and storage to advanced battery technologies and mobility solutions.

REI 2025 will showcase cutting-edge technologies across solar, wind, biomass, inverters, EV infrastructure, and energy storage, with participation from over 700 exhibitors, 1,000 brands, 35,000 visitors, and 250 global thought leaders. Complementing this, The Battery Show India (TBSI)—South Asia’s premier platform for advanced battery manufacturing and storage technologies—will bring together 350+ exhibitors and 400+ brands from the global energy and mobility sectors, with support from the Department of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Heavy Industries. Strengthening government-industry collaboration, the Government of Odisha joins as the State Partner, reinforcing the national commitment to advancing India’s energy storage ecosystem. The 2025 edition will feature strong international participation from China, Japan, Korea, Germany, Belgium, and EU-supported pavilions, along with a Start-up Pavilion and Investor Zone to promote innovation and funding opportunities.

The Bio Energy Pavilion, supported by the MNRE, will host 65 global participants. Prominent REI exhibitors include Reliance, Adani Solar, Waaree, Havells, Vikram Solar, Goldi Solar, FIMER, Luminous, Envision, and Gautam Solar, among others. At TBSI, innovators such as BASF, Semco, Thermo Fisher, TVS Indeon, Rubamin, Indygreen, and PNT Korea will showcase next-generation technologies powering sustainable mobility and storage.

Commenting on the co-located expos, Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India, said: “Renewable Energy India 2025 reflects the pulse of a nation steering firmly toward energy independence and sustainability. With over half of India’s power generation now derived from clean sources, the journey from 76 GW in 2014 to nearly 234 GW in 2025 is nothing short of transformational. The concurrent Battery Show India deepens the dialogue around storage and mobility—two pillars vital to the renewable energy value chain—reinforcing India’s leadership in driving the next wave of sustainable innovation.”

The event’s knowledge platform will feature Energy Storage Summit India (ESS India) and over 26 sessions exploring financing models, BESS deployment, manufacturing scale-up, circular economy practices, and talent development. Key highlights include the CEO/CXO Conclave, CTO Forum, and REI Awards, alongside the Battery Tech Conference featuring 100+ global experts discussing next-gen materials, storage integration, and pathways to achieving Net Zero.
