KSH Distriparks Appoints GM to Drive EXIM Growth

KSH Distriparks, a leading supply chain player in India, has announced the appointment of Dnyaneshwar Patil as General Manager – Commercials. In his new role, he will focus on driving strategic growth in EXIM trade operations, strengthening partnerships with shipping lines and trade bodies, and positioning the company as a trusted custodian in India’s evolving logistics landscape.

The appointment comes at a pivotal phase for KSH Distriparks. In 2025, the company scaled its annual handling capacity to more than 0.175 million TEUs by addressing a long-standing challenge faced by exporters in the Pune–Chakan industrial belt: the availability of empty containers at the hinterland level. By strengthening its empty yard capabilities and forging strategic alliances with global shipping lines, the company has helped improve turnaround times and reduce logistics costs for exporters.

With over two decades of experience across express logistics and freight forwarding, Dnyaneshwar Patil brings extensive commercial and operational expertise to the role. His career spans leadership positions at TNT Express, Aramex, Blue Dart, DHL, DSV and Kuehne+Nagel, where he managed marquee customers across India and led strategic initiatives in sea logistics.

Commenting on his appointment, Dnyaneshwar Patil said that ICD Talegaon plays a vital role in India’s trade infrastructure and expressed enthusiasm about joining a company committed to transparency, efficiency and customer-centric solutions. He highlighted the importance of strengthening logistics infrastructure to support India’s export growth and global competitiveness.

At KSH Distriparks, he will focus on elevating the company’s position through digital transformation initiatives, sustainable practices and enhanced customer engagement. Key priorities include implementing process automation to improve operational efficiency, launching customer engagement programmes with real-time visibility through CRM integration, developing sustainability projects for greener supply chains and forging strategic alliances to expand service offerings.

Welcoming him to the leadership team, Malcolm D’Souza, Chief Executive Officer of KSH Distriparks, said that Dnyaneshwar’s experience across express logistics, freight forwarding and national key account management makes him well suited to drive the company’s commercial strategy. He added that his track record in building strategic partnerships and delivering operational excellence aligns with the organisation’s vision of being a value-adding partner in global trade.

Looking ahead, KSH Distriparks will continue to focus on strengthening inland trade infrastructure and supporting port decongestion, in line with national logistics development objectives and India’s long-term infrastructure ambitions.
