Manitou launches MTA 519 compact telehandler

Introducing Manitou's latest innovation, the MTA 519 compact telehandler, combining the lifting prowess of a telehandler with the adaptability of a skid steer, all in a conveniently compact design. Standing at 5 feet 11 inches wide and 6 feet 4 inches tall, the MTA 519 effortlessly maneuvers through tight spaces such as garage doors and ramps into lower levels of buildings, boasting a nimble turning radius of 10 feet 10 inches.

With a maximum working height of 19 feet 1 inch and an impressive outreach of up to 11 feet 2 inches, this powerhouse can efficiently load and unload materials even on the second floor of structures. Plus, with a skid steer quick attach system and a hefty maximum load capacity of 5,500 pounds; the MTA 519 seamlessly accommodates a wide range of standard-flow skid steer and CTL attachments, enhancing its versatility on the job site.

According to Steve Kiskunas, Manitou's product manager for telescopic handlers, the compatibility with various attachments significantly boosts utilisation for both rental businesses and contractors, ultimately driving profitability. From standard fork and bucket operations to the ability to run standard-flow attachments, this machine proves to be a valuable asset to any fleet.

Moreover, the MTA 519 features a specially engineered ground-engaging boom, allowing it to handle an array of attachments, from snow pushes to brooms. Its robust construction ensures optimal strength, with hydraulic-driven extension and retraction for seamless operation. Situated lower within the machine?s framework, the boom enhances visibility from the cab, particularly to the right side, optimising efficiency and safety on the job. Experience the ground-breaking capabilities of the MTA 519, showcased at the 2024 ARA Show.
