MOIL Posts Record May Output in FY26 Kick-Off

MOIL has kicked off FY 2025–26 with its highest-ever May production, registering a strong operational performance that sets the tone for a robust financial year. The company produced 0.171 million tonnes of manganese ore in May 2025, marking an 18 per cent increase over the corresponding period last year.

This figure represents not only the highest May production in the company’s history but also its fourth-highest monthly output ever since inception.

In addition to production gains, exploratory core drilling reached 13,352 metres, showing a 17.5 per cent year-on-year growth, underlining MOIL’s strategic focus on expanding its mineral resource base.

CMD Shri Ajit Kumar Saxena praised the team’s efforts, stating, “Our mines are the backbone of MOIL’s success. With this performance, we’ve shown that disciplined operations and efficient practices can consistently break barriers.”

The company’s strong start to the year reinforces its commitment to scaling up production while enhancing long-term mineral security through sustained exploration efforts.
