MP Growth Summit Allocates Rs 2 Trillion In Investments

The state-level Abhyuday Madhya Pradesh Growth Summit – Investment to Employment is being held today at the Mela Ground in Gwalior, with a strong focus on translating investment into job creation. In the presence of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav, land is being allocated for investment proposals worth over Rs 2 trillion, while industrial projects valued at more than Rs 100 billion are being inaugurated and foundation stones laid.

Organised on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the summit underscores Madhya Pradesh’s emphasis on investment-led employment growth. In a video message released on the eve of the event, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said the state has been steadily converting industrial investments into employment opportunities and that the summit would take Madhya Pradesh to new heights of development.

He added that the summit, themed “Investment to Employment – Atal Sankalp, Ujjwal Madhya Pradesh”, will highlight industrial expansion, investment achievements and employment generation over the past two years. The Chief Minister also said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and he would later attend a farmers’ conference on natural farming in Rewa, reflecting the state’s parallel focus on agriculture-led sustainability and rural livelihoods.
