NBCC Wins Rs 37 Billion Mixed-Use Project in Rajasthan

State-owned NBCC Ltd has been awarded the role of lead agency for a major mixed-use development project in Rajasthan, with an estimated investment of Rs 37 billion. The 95-acre site, situated along B2 Bypass on Tonk Road, is owned by the Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO).
According to a regulatory filing on Monday, NBCC will be responsible for designing, building, and marketing key infrastructure including the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre, a Global Capability Centre (GCC) Tower, IT Tower, luxury hotels, and various commercial and residential spaces.
The highlight of the project is the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre, which will be developed across 25 acres and feature a seating capacity of 7,500, making it one of the region’s most significant event venues.
The Rajasthan government has officially approved the development, which aims to create a high-value economic and hospitality corridor anchored by modern convention, business, and residential infrastructure.
NBCC Ltd, a central public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is engaged in project management consultancy (PMC), real estate development, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. This new contract further enhances its role in shaping state-level infrastructure aimed at boosting economic activity and global investment appeal in Rajasthan.
