ORSL Acquires Industrial Associate To Boost Green Chemicals

Organic Recycling Systems Limited announced on 13 March 2026 that it has acquired Industrial Associate, a chemical trading firm with longstanding ties to major manufacturers and direct connections to industrial end users across manufacturing, infrastructure and process industries. The acquisition was presented as a strategic step to strengthen the company’s green chemicals and sustainable materials vertical. It was described as enhancing ORSL’s capacity to integrate circular economy solutions with industrial chemical supply chains.

Industrial Associate has developed a reputation for reliable sourcing, efficient distribution and trusted partnerships that enable the supply of specialty and industrial chemicals across multiple sectors. ORSL intends to leverage that market network and commercial expertise to accelerate the development and distribution of environmentally responsible chemical products, including those derived from circular and low carbon processes. The move is expected to support demand for sustainable industrial inputs as industries shift to low carbon production pathways.

The acquisition aligns with ORSL’s broader mission of advancing decarbonisation, resource efficiency and green chemistry innovations. The company operates a Research and Innovation Centre in Navi Mumbai that focuses on technologies related to waste to value, carbon capture and utilisation, bio based materials and sustainable industrial inputs. These capabilities are intended to be combined with the commercial reach of Industrial Associate to scale green solutions.

Established in 2008, Organic Recycling Systems Limited develops and deploys cost effective, eco friendly technologies across the waste value chain. Its operations include project development and technology licensing, a product vertical offering bio based products such as CBG and organic manure, consulting services and an operation and maintenance vertical for CBG and waste processing facilities. The acquisition is said to reinforce ORSL’s long term strategy to build a diversified cleantech platform.

ORSL said Industrial Associate will continue to operate with established market relationships while gaining access to ORSL’s technology platform, sustainability expertise and global partnerships in biogas, carbon capture, circular materials and innovation. The company highlighted collaborations with technical institutes such as IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT BHU and IIT Roorkee and University of Birmingham. The acquisition positions ORSL to play a role in India’s transition towards a low carbon and resource efficient economy.
