Airport officials have announced plans to improve the Prayagraj airport in Bamrauli to accommodate the influx of devotees and tourists expected for the Mahakumbh 2025 religious fair. According to officials, "In view of the large number of devotees and tourists expected to arrive, the Airport Authority of India (AAI) is set to launch a tender for the construction of a new building that will expand the airport's facilities.
