Royal Orchid Signs Regenta Place Udaipur, Boosts Rajasthan play

Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels (ROHL), one of India’s fastest-growing hospitality chains, has strengthened its presence in Rajasthan with the signing of Regenta Place Udaipur, a 43-key property located at Nakoda Nagar in the City of Lakes. The hotel will be operated under a hotel management agreement, in line with ROHL’s asset-light expansion strategy.

Designed to cater to both leisure travellers and social events, the upcoming property will combine contemporary accommodation with extensive banqueting and outdoor event infrastructure. Regenta Place Udaipur will feature a 7,000 sq ft indoor banquet hall along with a landscaped lawn spanning around 30,000 sq ft, positioning it as a preferred venue for destination weddings, large celebrations and social gatherings.

The property is being developed by Mokkshi Hospitality & Services, owned by Amit Jain, and is strategically located to provide convenient access to Udaipur’s key tourist attractions and established wedding circuits. With Udaipur continuing to attract strong demand for leisure travel and destination weddings, the new signing is expected to add a versatile hospitality address under the Regenta Place brand.

The hotel is scheduled to open by March 2026, further expanding Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels’ footprint in one of Rajasthan’s most sought-after hospitality markets.

Commenting on the signing, Chander K Baljee, Chairman & Managing Director, Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels, said, “Udaipur remains a high-potential market for leisure and destination weddings. The signing of Regenta Place Udaipur strengthens our portfolio in Rajasthan and reflects our focus on strategically located properties with strong social and events-led demand.”

Amit Jain, Owner, Mokkshi Hospitality & Services, added, “We are delighted to partner with Royal Orchid & Regenta Hotels for Regenta Place Udaipur. Their brand strength and operational expertise give us confidence in creating a successful hospitality destination that caters to leisure travellers and large-scale celebrations alike.”

With this addition, ROHL continues to deepen its presence in high-growth leisure and wedding destinations across India while pursuing an asset-light, management-led growth model.
