Tata Communications Named Leader In Gartner Magic Quadrant

Tata Communications has been recognised as a Leader in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Global WAN Services, marking its 13th consecutive year of recognition for completeness of vision and ability to execute. The company reported that the recognition reflects sustained investments in network capabilities and a strategic focus on enterprise requirements across sectors.

Over the past year the company refined its network fabric through advanced artificial intelligence and analytics to offer composable, high-speed, on-demand and intent-based connectivity that supports enterprises in finance, manufacturing, retail, media and IT services. It expanded its network-on-demand portfolio with new options such as IZO Data Centre Dynamic Connectivity and multi-cloud on-demand connectivity to give enterprises greater flexibility to scale network resources as required.

The company also invested in next-generation high-density single-mode fibres and high-capacity wavelength services of 800G to meet emerging requirements of AI cloud infrastructure. It extended global coverage through strategic partner points of presence to enable rapid deployment and flexible service expansion in key markets and worked with local offnet partners to secure reliable last-mile connectivity across regions. The firm strengthened secure access service edge capabilities to address emerging AI-driven threats including risks such as unauthorised data uploads and outlined plans to offer quantum-safe encryption services using Post-Quantum Cryptography algorithms standardised by NIST.

As part of the broader Tata Group the company said it enables digital transformation for enterprises in more than 190 countries and territories and serves around 300 of the Fortune 500. It connects businesses to 80 per cent of the world's cloud giants and said it will continue to evolve solutions so enterprises can build resilient, high-performance and intelligent digital foundations to scale in an AI-powered future.
