Tembo Global Industries Commissions Integrated Vasai Plant

Tembo Global Industries has completed and commissioned a state-of-the-art integrated manufacturing facility at Vasai, Maharashtra, consolidating its operations into a single, high-capacity hub.

The 3.32-acre greenfield facility, acquired in 2021, spans around 250,000 sq ft and increases the company’s total production capacity from 15,000 MTPA to approximately 90,000 MTPA. The plant houses large-scale manufacturing and plating operations, a 50,000 sq ft packing section, four dedicated truck bays and direct highway connectivity to support efficient logistics.

The new Vasai unit brings together three earlier leased facilities into one two-floor integrated building, helping reduce logistics costs, streamline workflows and deliver operational efficiencies. Designed for scalability, the plant will also serve as a central hub for domestic and international operations, with provisions for future expansion.

The facility will manufacture a wide range of industrial metal products, including pipe support systems, fasteners, anchors, HVAC and anti-vibration systems, as well as prefabricated solutions for industrial, commercial, utility and OEM applications. It will also support fabrication and installation of ductile pipes, HDB pipes and MS plates.

Commenting on the development, Sanjay J Patel, Managing Director, Tembo Global Industries, said the Vasai facility would play a pivotal role in scaling capacity, diversifying the product portfolio and strengthening service capabilities for domestic and global clients.

The commissioning of the plant reflects the company’s continued focus on advanced infrastructure investment, operational excellence and long-term growth across Indian and international markets.

METRO MOVES!

Multimodal Corridors Reshape India’s Freight Logistics

India’s freight and logistics landscape is undergoing a structural transformation, driven by Dedicated Freight Corridors (DFCs) and an expanding network of multimodal logistics infrastructure. Purpose-built freight rail corridors, combined with integrated logistics parks, are enabling faster, more predictable and cost-efficient cargo movement across the country. The Eastern and Western DFCs together span more than 2,800 km, with most sections now operational. Designed exclusively for freight, these corridors allow longer, heavier and faster trains, significantly improving throughput. Freigh..
