Tembo Global Opens Vasai Plant, Raises Capacity to 100,000 MTPA

Tembo Global Industries has commissioned a new manufacturing facility in Vasai, Maharashtra, increasing its annual production capacity from 18,000 metric tonnes per annum to 100,000 MTPA.

Developed with an investment of Rs 75 crore, the 120,000 sq ft integrated facility is expected to improve manufacturing efficiency, support product development and strengthen the company’s supply-chain capabilities.

Its location in Vasai provides connectivity for sourcing raw materials and distributing finished products, which is expected to support faster deliveries, lower logistics costs and improved operational efficiency.

The facility also includes an in-house research and development centre focused on developing engineering solutions aligned with changing customer and industry requirements.

Tembo Global Industries employs more than 100 engineering professionals and operates across segments including electric resistance welded pipes and engineering, procurement and construction projects.

The company said its focus on forward and backward integration has helped improve operational efficiency, reduce manufacturing costs and strengthen profitability. The expanded facility is expected to further support these benefits and enable growth in high-margin business segments.

Sanjay J Patel, Managing Director, Tembo Global Industries, said the commissioning marked an important milestone in the company’s growth and strengthened its manufacturing, innovation and product development capabilities.

With the additional capacity, the company estimates peak annual revenue potential of around Rs 700 crore over the next few years, supported by demand from the infrastructure, industrial and engineering sectors.

Tembo Global Industries holds UL and FM approvals and is certified under ISO 9001:2015 for its quality-management systems.
