Hindustan Zinc will host the third edition of the Vedanta Zinc City Half Marathon in Udaipur on 6 September 2026. Organised in association with Any Body Can Run, the AIMS-certified race will feature 21.097 km, 10 km and 5 km categories.

Registrations will open from 1 June 2026 through the Udaipur Marathon and Hindustan Zinc social media pages and websites, and will remain open until slots are filled. A virtual run option will also allow participants from across the world to join the event.

Known as India’s Most Beautiful Marathon, the race will take runners through Udaipur’s Fateh Sagar lakeside route, heritage lanes and the Aravalli backdrop. The previous edition recorded 7,000 runners from 27 Indian states and several countries, with participation rising by 40 per cent.

The marathon is built around the theme ‘One Run, One Community’ and aims to promote fitness, inclusion, civic pride and sports tourism. Participants will receive an exclusive Zinc Finisher Medal inspired by Hindustan Zinc’s mines.

Hindustan Zinc said the initiative supports its wider commitment to community development, grassroots sporting excellence and active lifestyles, alongside programmes such as Zinc Football Academy and other community-led sports platforms.
