IKEA to open second Bengaluru store at Konanakunte Cross

IKEA India will open its second store in Bengaluru on 5 November 2026 at Purva Zentech on Kanakapura Main Road, expanding its retail presence in South Bengaluru.

Spread across 80,000 sq ft, the store is within walking distance of Konanakunte Cross Metro Station. It will display more than 5,200 products, of which over 3,000 will be available for immediate takeaway. Customers can access the complete range of over 7,000 products through in-store orders, the IKEA website, app and Shop by Phone service. The store will also house a 100-seater restaurant serving Swedish and local food.

“Bengaluru holds a special place in our India journey. Over the last five years, we have been welcomed into thousands of homes and have had the opportunity to learn from customers about how they live, what they value, and how their needs are evolving,” said Patrik Antoni, CEO, IKEA India. He added that the new store was designed around these insights and would improve accessibility and convenience for customers in South Bengaluru.

The store's offerings reflect changing housing and lifestyle needs in the area, including compact apartment layouts, hybrid working and multifunctional living spaces. Its room settings will showcase furniture and storage solutions for different household requirements, budgets and personal styles. Customers will also have access to planning, delivery, assembly and installation services.

IKEA began its Bengaluru operations through e-commerce in 2021 and opened its first store in the city in 2022. The company said it now has more than 900,000 IKEA Family members in Bengaluru.

Across India, IKEA reaches over 300 million visitors through its online and offline channels and has a membership base of more than three million. The company is continuing to expand through large-format stores, city stores and e-commerce.
