In response to the increase in iron ore prices and depreciation of rupee, JSW Steel plans to raise steel prices by 4 per cent. The company aims to achieve 8.5 mn tonne production this fiscal and had achieved more than 50 per cent of the total target in the first six months. However, its November capacity utilisation has come down relative to October due of non-availability of iron ore.
