TCS wins contract from Plaza Premium to improve airport experience

Tata Consultancy Services Limited (TCS) has signed an agreement with Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a Hong Kong-based global airport hospitality services provider, to create an end-to-end digital platform that will enhance the customer experience and operating excellence at PPG’s 70 airport sites that serve 20 million passengers yearly.

The long-term partnership concentrates on reimagining the end-to-end airport travel experience across three core sectors: employee experience, operational excellence and customer experience.

Leveraging its in-depth domain knowledge of the air transport sector, TCS said it is developing a “first-of-its-kind" customised Passenger Services Technology Platform for PPG. The new platform is targeted at improving customer experience by facilitating reservations for different services at PPG’s lounges and other hospitality outlets.

The platform will incorporate into the larger B2B partner ecosystem allowing selection and service integration, seamless product offerings, improving the airport hospitality experience, and reinvigorating business development, TCS told the media. The platform is likely to be first deployed at Bangalore International Airport Limited in early 2022.

With the new platform created by TCS, PPG is better allowed to provide an exceptional customer experience, obtain better business intelligence, and drive development worldwide.
