Ahmedabad new ATC tower

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at Ahmedabad will have a new Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower in 2014. This will be the first major addition to the airport infrastructure. AAI plans to build an administrative block (besides the new ATC) to upgrade technical supervision and improve administration. Construction work for the administrative block has already started and the preliminary design for the new tower has been approved.
