Delhi airport cleanest in Asia Pacific

International organisation ACI has rated Delhi Airport as one of the best airports and the cleanest airport in the Asia Pacific area.

DIAL's Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), which serves over 40 million passengers annually, won the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Best Airport Award for 2022. (MPPA). Moreover, the Airports Council International ranked it the cleanest airport in the Asia Pacific region (ACI).

ACI is a group of airport managers that is nonprofit. A partnership between GMR Airports Infrastructure Ltd. and Delhi International Airport Ltd.

Airports Authority of India (AAI) stated in a separate press release that Tiruchirappalli International Airport has been named the best airport in the Asia Pacific area for under 2 million passengers by ACI.

Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli airport is run by the government-owned AAI.
