PM to inaugurate new airport of Rajkot on July 27

According to a statement from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Rajkot International Airport will be the name of the city's brand-new greenfield airport. On July 27, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the airport.

The Hirasar greenfield airport will be dedicated to the nation on July 27 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to the release. All of the preparations for the inauguration ceremony have been finished. Rajkot International Airport will be the name of this airport.

"The decision to give this name to Rajkot airport was taken in a video conference with AAl chairman Sanjeev Kumar," stated airport director Diganta Borah.

In the airport's arrival and departure terminals, inventive signage has been installed.

Personnel for managing operations and security are in place. The airport's arrival area has been adorned with artwork depicting the local heritage and culture.

The Prime Minister will hold a roadshow from the current airport to Race Course ground after officially opening the new airport. He will also deliver a speech at a rally there.
