Eighty bridges to be built in Tamil Nadu

Eighty bridges will be built in Tamil Nadu at Rs 159.74 crore. One bridge each will be built in the Nilgris, Tiruvallur, Vellore and Tiruvannamalai districts. Tiruvarur, Ariyalur, Perambalur, Trichy and Cuddalore districts will get two bridges each. Namakkal, Dharmapuri, Krishnagiri, Tiruppur and Coimbatore districts will get three bridges each. Four new bridges each will be built in Namakkal, Erode, Dindigul and Sivaganga districts. Thanjavur and Salem will get five bridges each, and Pudukottai and Tuticorin will get eight bridges each. An outer ring road between Jujuvadi to Perandapalli will be laid, covering 18.40 km, to reduce traffic congestion in Hosur town.
