Govt sanctions Rs 12 cr for 19-km road in Nagpur

The Maharashtra government has sanctioned Rs 12 crore for rebuilding the rain battered stretch between Butibori and Wardha in Nagpur. The State Minister of State for public Works Ranjit Kamble had taken up the matter with the State Road Development Corporation and the money required has now been sanctioned for rebuilding the road, say media reports. The Minister said that urgent repairs including filling up of potholes and tarring would be carried out with Rs 80 lakh. Wardha-Butibori is a 19-km stretch and it is used by commuters as well as heavy vehicle transport.
