HPPPL to set up thermal plants soon

Formerly known as Moser Baer Projects, Hindustan Power Projects Pvt Ltd (HPPPL) has plans to commission its thermal power plants soon. The first unit of a 1,200 MW power plant in Madhya Pradesh is expected to be commissioned in July or August this year. The first unit of another 1,320 MW plant is also being commissioned. HPPPL has already made an investment of more than Rs 14,500 crore in this space and has already secured coal from South Eastern Coal Fields. Contact: Hindustan Power Projects.
