Odisha plans riverine port

The Odisha Government with technical consultant WAPCOS, will carry out a feasibility study to set up the state´s first riverine port in the the Mahanadi near Paradip.

The port will be developed in PPP mode at an estimated cost of Rs 500 crore. If found technically feasible and financially viable, the project will be awarded to the successful bidder which will be selected through a competitive bidding process.
