Orissa to develop roads in 5 districts
The Orissa Government will construct about 250 km of roads in five districts of Malkan-giri, Raygada, Ganjam, Koraput and Sambalpur involving an estimated expenditure of Rs 400 crore.
Construction work has progressed in the 68 km Bhawanipatna-Khariar Road, 95 km long Chandbali-Bhadrakh-Anandapur Road and 41 km Berhampur-Taptapani Road. About 204 km of roads are proposed to be constructed in the first phase under the Orissa State Road Project (OSRP). Similarly, construction of 257 km of road will be taken up in the second phase of OSRP.
