Rs.75 cr for road widening project

The Kerala Government will sanction Rs 75 crore to widen the 8.4 km stretch of Mananchira-Vellimadukunnu road of NH-766 passing through the city. The Revenue Department will acquire the 2.8 acre of government land that was located in the alignment of the road widening project and also construct a compound wall to prevent encroachment.
