Work on Dr Bhapkar road in Aurangabad to be completed by Dec

Concreting a stretch of the road between Aurangabad railway station and Kranti Chowk in Aurangabad would be completed by the end of December, said Aurangabad civic authorities on October 14. The stretch for five kilometre on Dr Bhapkar Marg was widened previously. Half of the road stretch between the station and Kranti Chowk would be concreted, while the rest would be asphalted, said the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation. The road work taken up at a cost of Rs 24 crore had to be suspended for some time as several power distribution panels, streetlights and 1,400 mm and 700 mm diameter water pipelines under the road surface had to be shifted. As many as 437 trees had to be moved.
