AVP Infracon Wins Rs 160 Million Bridge Project in Tamil Nadu

AVP Infracon Limited, a leading player in India’s infrastructure sector, has secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Superintending Engineer, Highways NABARD & Rural Roads Circle, Salem, for the construction of a Road Over Bridge (ROB) at Km 0/6 of Thaneerpandal Road in Tamil Nadu. The ROB will replace Level Crossing No. 6 located between Singanallur and Peelamedu railway stations within the Coimbatore region.

The government-awarded contract is valued at approximately Rs 160 million and is to be completed within 18 months from the project's commencement.

The bridge is expected to significantly reduce traffic congestion, enhance commuter safety, and improve connectivity in one of Coimbatore’s busiest urban corridors. The project adds to AVP Infracon’s growing portfolio in transport infrastructure, reaffirming its role in the development of critical road and bridge assets in southern India.

AVP Infracon is recognised for its robust track record in delivering highway, bridge, and civil construction projects. The company’s consistent focus on timely execution, engineering excellence, and quality compliance has made it a trusted partner for public infrastructure initiatives.

Commenting on the development, Managing Director Prasanna Dhandayuthapani stated, “This new order strengthens our position as a reliable execution partner for state infrastructure bodies and aligns with our long-term vision to support Tamil Nadu’s mission for sustainable and future-ready road infrastructure.”

He added that the company is fully prepared to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe, maintaining the highest standards of engineering quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The initiative also supports the government’s broader agenda of upgrading both urban and rural transportation networks, with a focus on long-term mobility and economic growth in the region.
