Bengaluru issues tender for construction of elevated corridor

Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMK) has invited bids for the construction of elevated corridor. The scope of work includes the construction of an elevated corridor by integrating Ejipura main inner ring road junction, Sony World junction and Kendriya Sadana Junction, along 100-ft inner ring road, Kormangala, Bengaluru–balance portion as is where is basis. The estimated value of the project is Rs 141.6 crore with a completion period of 15 months.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike is the administrative body responsible for civic amenities and some infrastructural assets of the Greater Bangalore metropolitan area. It is the fourth largest Municipal Corporation in India and is responsible for a population of 8.4 million in an area of 741 km².
