Odisha seeks Rs.3,160 cr for rail budget

Odisha sought an allocation of Rs 3,160 crore in the Railway Budget 2014-15 to complete delayed projects and augment rail infrastructure. The state also plans to complete the five projects sanctioned between 1994-95 and 2010-11. They include the Talcher-Sambalpur, Sambalpur-Titlagarh-Raipur, Cuttack-Barang- Rajatgarh and Jakhapura-Keonjhar-Bansapani sections. A wagon factory in Ganjam and a wagon maintenance workshop in Kalahandi will also be set up.
