The 24-kilometre track would include 10 stations and would connect the industrial areas of Sector 58-59, Alhapur, Baghola, Prithla, Sikri, Softa, and Palwal. Alternatives for the MRT system would be investigated for the planned route, and after consultations with the NHAI and other stakeholders, the alignment would be decided. The Ballabgarh Railway Station, Ballabgarh Bus Stand, Palwal Bus Stand, and Raja Nahar Singh Metro Station would all be integrated into the upcoming project.

It was mentioned that the upcoming line would be an elevated metro route, with an estimated cost of Rs 1.8 billion per kilometre. The total cost of the project was estimated to be around Rs 43.20 billion.

After the technical feasibility assessment was concluded, the project would be submitted for approval to the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation (HMRTC). Khattar had instructed for quick action in this regard.
