Monarch Secures Rs 12.8 Million Railway Survey Order

Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Limited has secured a contract from Western Railway for a pre and post tamping track measurement survey, strengthening its pipeline in the railway infrastructure segment. The order is valued at Rs 12.8 million (mn) and was awarded under a Letter of Acceptance issued by Western Railway. The work order was announced from Pune and will be executed under the jurisdiction of the Divisional Engineer, East, Rajkot.

The assignment will use the advanced Trimble Gedo Vorsys trolley system to perform high precision track measurement surveys that support maintenance planning and operational efficiency. The scope covers comprehensive measurement activities required for tamping operations and associated post tamping verification. The company stated that mobilisation will begin immediately and the contract provides for an estimated completion timeline of 18 months. This technical engagement complements the firm’s existing consultancy services and on site surveying capabilities.

Monarch said the order reflects growing technical expertise in high precision track measurement and demonstrates confidence from railway authorities in its project delivery. The development is expected to improve execution visibility for ongoing and forthcoming infrastructure projects and to reinforce the company’s presence across railways, roads and urban infrastructure segments. Management indicated that the award adds to a healthy order pipeline and aligns with the company’s near term growth strategy. The firm will leverage its surveying resources and project management processes to meet contractual milestones.

Founded in 1999, Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants Limited is a publicly listed infrastructure consultancy that provides detailed project reports, engineering design, geospatial mapping using LiDAR and three dimensional scanning, land acquisition planning and project management. The company operates from multiple cities and offers specialised surveying and engineering consultancy across industrial corridors and urban development. Monarch expects sustained execution focus to support business prospects in the near term.
