MPMRCL reviews Bhopal metro corridor construction

Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MPMRCL) MD S Krishna Chaitanya conducted a site inspection of the construction work on the Bhopal metro priority corridor from AIIMS Station to DRM office station and Subhash Nagar depot. He gathered progress updates from the departments, Metro officials, consultants, and contractors involved. The metro priority corridor was scheduled to be completed by May 2024. This announcement was made during a trial run that took place in Sept 2023. Senior officers Shobhit Tandon, director (systems), Ajay Gupta, director (projects) and Sanjay Singh, general manager (civil), participated in the inspection. Officers from various departments, as well as representatives from general consultants and metro construction contractors, were also present.
