RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has secured a Rs 900.8 million contract from the Institute of Road Transport to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The project includes the design, development, supply, implementation, operations and maintenance of the system and is set for completion by 18 October 2026.
The ERP solution will be rolled out across three key transport corporations in Tamil Nadu: Metropolitan Transport Corporation (MTC) Ltd in Chennai, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC)-Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC)-Madurai.
