Upgrades unveiled for Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express

The Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express is set to undergo significant upgrades, with the introduction of three new features aimed at enhancing passenger experience and train efficiency. These enhancements were recently unveiled as part of the on-going efforts to modernize and improve railway services.

The first addition is the incorporation of a state-of-the-art GPS-based Passenger Information System, providing real-time information to passengers about the train's location, upcoming stations, and other relevant details. This feature aims to offer a more informed and convenient travel experience.

The second upgrade involves the installation of an advanced CCTV surveillance system inside the train coaches. This security enhancement is designed to ensure the safety of passengers and their belongings throughout the journey, aligning with the commitment to providing secure and reliable rail travel.

The third feature is the implementation of a revamped on-board entertainment system, catering to the entertainment needs of passengers during the journey. This addition reflects a contemporary approach to passenger services, recognising the importance of a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience.

These upgrades are part of the broader strategy to elevate the quality of service on the Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat Express and align with modern standards in rail travel. The railway authorities aim to not only meet but exceed passenger expectations, making train travel a more technologically advanced, secure, and enjoyable mode of transportation for those commuting between Jammu and Srinagar.
