Adani Group to expand Dhamra Port capacity

Adani Group has plans to expand the Dhamra Port´s capacity to 100 MT per annum in Odisha´s Bhadrak district. The Group intends to create a port similar to the Mundra port. The company had acquired the Dhamra Port from L&T and the Tatas by paying about Rs 5,500 crore. As part of its expansion plans, Dhamara Port Company Limited (DPCL) had sought 700 acre which was sanctioned by the state government. Work on the expansion of this project is expected to commence soon.
