Dhamra port looks for expansion

State Government has approved land allotment for Adani Group-owned Dhamra Port Company Ltd (DPCL), for its Rs 10,000 crore second phase expansion plan. The port has obtained environment clearance for the expansion.
The plan will add 11 new berths and raise its capacity to 100 mn tonne from the current 25 mn tonne. Five mtpa LNG (liquefied natural gas) terminal will be set up within 150 acre of the port premises by Indian Oil Corporation Ltd for Rs 5,000 crore.
