Legrand to buy new switchgear division

Legrand plans to buy the switchgear division of IndoAsian Fusegear for Rs 600 crore. It will acquire this business for a purchase consideration of Rs 495 crore and in addition pay a fee of Rs 35 crore for a non compete covenant for five years.
