Avantel Bags Rs 175.5 Million Defence Order From BEL

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has awarded a major purchase order for advanced communication systems valued at Rs 175.5 million. The contract has been secured by Avantel.

The order underscores BEL’s ongoing efforts to support and integrate Indian defence technology providers. Under the contract, Avantel will supply specialised communication systems that form critical components of BEL’s defence and technology programmes.

The collaboration strengthens India’s push towards self-reliance (Aatmanirbharta) in defence electronics and manufacturing, with both companies playing key roles in advancing indigenous capabilities.
