Bidhannagar all set to be a part of Smart City scheme

The Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation met investors at the West Bengal Global Business Summit in order to invest in the state´s planned satellite town. Bidhannagar (Salt Lake) municipality is one of the four municipality areas alongside New Town, Haldia and Durgapur, which may come under the Centre´s ´smart city´ scheme. A Rs 2,981 crore documented plan has been submitted to the Central Government for revitalising Salt Lake. More number of greener buildings will be planned alongside upgrading existing buildings to green energy using facilities.
