Toshiba Group´s water services company UEM India has bagged a Rs 132.6 crore contract to supply sewerage system in Sahibganj, Jharkhand. The contract from Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company, encompasses the construction of two sewage treatment plants, based on sequencing batch reactor technology, with 5 mn and 7 mn litre per day capacities, along with a 55 km sewerage network and seven pumping stations.
