Maersk shuts down all operations in Russia & Belarus

Due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Maersk has announced the closure of its operations in Russia and Belarus.

All vessel operations in Russia and Belarus have already been suspended, and all domestic operations would be phased out gradually.

The company revealed that there is no new business in Russia or Belarus because of the winddown.

The Copenhagen-based airline announced that its offices in Far East Russia, Novorossiysk, and Kaliningrad will close in the summer of 2022, while those in Saint Petersburg and Moscow will remain open until the end of the year.

In addition, Maersk's office in Belarus will be closed for the summer.
