Prozo Opens 1.1 Lakh Sq Ft Fulfilment Centre in Bhiwandi

Prozo has launched a new 1.1 lakh sq ft fulfilment centre in Bhiwandi, strengthening its warehousing and logistics footprint in Maharashtra.

The facility is Prozo’s largest in the Bhiwandi region and expands its Western India network to 10 fulfilment centres with a combined area of 7.1 lakh sq ft.

Located within Bhiwandi’s established warehousing and logistics cluster, the centre is positioned along the Mumbai-Nashik corridor. It provides access to Mumbai and other markets across western and central India.

The facility is also located near Jawaharlal Nehru Port, the Eastern Express Highway and the Samruddhi Expressway, supporting regional and national movement of goods.

The expansion comes amid strong warehousing demand in the Mumbai region. According to Vestian, Mumbai recorded 5.04 million sq ft of warehousing absorption in Q2 2026, with the Bhiwandi corridor accounting for nearly 69 per cent of the city’s total absorption.

Mumbai and Pune together accounted for 65 per cent of national warehousing absorption during the quarter, compared with 33 per cent a year earlier. Third-party logistics operators accounted for the largest share of occupier demand.

Dr Ashvini Jakhar, Founder and CEO, Prozo, said, “With this facility, we are adding meaningful capacity in a market where brands need both scale and speed, while strengthening the network density that allows inventory and fulfillment operations to work together more efficiently.”

The new centre will operate on Prozo’s national fulfilment standards and will be supported by its proprietary Control Tower technology stack. The platform enables real-time inventory visibility, omni-channel orchestration, operational monitoring, and safety and compliance management.

The facility will support existing clients expanding their Maharashtra operations while providing additional capacity for new brands joining Prozo’s multi-client fulfilment network.

Prozo serves brands across FMCG, consumer electronics, healthcare, beauty, fashion and lifestyle segments, offering warehousing and fulfilment solutions across multiple channels and distribution formats.

Reddy made the remarks on Monday on the sidelines of the Assocham-organised Angul Aluminium Roadshow in Kolkata. His comments came amid reports of alleged supply constraints at some power plants, although he said the temporary interruptions should not be interpreted as a broader shortage. ..
