Welspun Corp Gains on US Arm’s Rs. 40 bn HFIW Pipe Order

Welspun Corp rose 3.84 per cent to Rs. 2,786.30 after announcing that its wholly owned US subsidiary, Welspun Tubular, had secured an order worth approximately Rs. 40 bn for supplying High-Frequency Induction Welded (HFIW) pipes. The order is the largest in Welspun Corp’s history in terms of volume, length and value. The pipes will be manufactured at Welspun Tubular’s newly upgraded HFIW mill in Little Rock, in the US. Avantel Secures Rs. 1.77 bn Satellite Equipment Order

Digital technology company Avantel has secured a purchase order valued at Rs. 1.77 bn from Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses for the supply of satellite communication equipment. The order was disclosed by Avantel in a regulatory filing on 23 September 2026, following the receipt of the firm purchase order dated 22 September. The contract is required to be executed by March 2027. Adityanath Launches Rs. 120 bn Housing Projects in Lucknow

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched two major housing projects in Lucknow on Thursday, marking the start of large-scale development near the Agra Expressway and along Sitapur Road. The schemes are planned to accommodate around 800,000 people and have a combined estimated cost of Rs. 120 bn. The two schemes, Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar, will cover a combined 10,680 acres.
